Today we are nationally recognized as New Zealand's leading authority on vehicle tuning and ECU re-mapping. Shouldn't the JDM ep3 have 158kw factory? I'm looking at getting mine tuned. It's pretty much the exact setup as this one, PLM 2.5 headers, Sk2 Ultra street intake, still think about which 3" exhaust to go with.... Have you sorted the Haltech issue out yet? Thinking of bringing it in to you guys but tune it on the Elite 1500+

What’s the difference between the TPD turbo vs MHI stage 2 turbo aka spoon big turbo.
Our turbo is slightly bigger again , designed around a g25660 core instead of a Mitsubishi core and inconal exhaust wheel. It is 25% larger over all than the OEM FK8 turbo but 9% lighter on the wheels to retain the stock spool , we aimed for a lower boost target but increase in power that results in lower charge temps! For example at 15psi on our turbo our development car made just over stock power and at the OEM boost target of 1.5 bar ( 22-23psi ) our development car makes just over 300kw wheels. The mhi turbo can achieve the same power output but running around 1.8bar ( 26-27psi ) and running a higher charge temperature and less room to move
@@TorquePerformanceNZ The specs of the TPD turbo sounds promising. I was wondering is the bypass valve strong on the TPD turbo? Someone blew their RV6 turbo on their FL5 because he used the OEM bypass valve on it that’s made out of thin plastic. I also got a PRL FL5 turbo blanket but not too sure if that will fit on the TPD turbo. I’m really interested in getting the TPD turbo for my FL5 in the near future.

Good idea but unfortunately with the shape of the JDM sway bar that would bring it closer to the header as it has a unbend that fits into the floor pan
